When firms become prime targets for hackers, the attack themselves become front-page news. Financial and personal data have been compromised despite firms having measures in place. You will review three cases:
- A breach case (CASE #1) of your choice that does not involve ransomware. The case must have occurred within the last five years.
- A breach case (CASE #2) of your choice that involved ransomware. The case must have occurred within the last five years.
- The Equifax data breach (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017_Equifax_data_breach). NOTE: You can not use Wikipedia as a source.
